And so the Chemo begins...

Mom began chemo this past Friday, the first in the series. She'll have another round next week, and the week after, a week off, and begin the process again...for about 3 rounds total. Possible side effects include weakness, hair loss, and nausea, the most prominent being weakness. We are on day 2, and so far Mom is feeling great-a testimony to the prayers that are surrounding her during this time! Mom and Dad are back at the beach, this time Ocean City, for a more "relaxing" vacation (what, a week with a toddler and a baby isn't relaxing ;) ?)...and Mom swears that Collin asked her to bring another toy for him-ha! They did make a special drive up on Saturday to give the boys baths and say their goodbyes (we're kinda chopped liver)...

So we continue to seek God's favor in this journey-that He will continue to bless Mom's body during this time of chemo-that He'll continue to keep the side effects at bay...especially as she heads back to school in a few weeks!

Lauren and Justin have some awesome things going on-if you would like to keep up, feel free to visit their blog:http://justinandlaurenpauls.blogspot.com/2011/08/california-here-we-come.html.....there's even a chance we'll celebrate Thanksgiving together-something we haven't done in a long time =)

The boys continue to thrive-Collin is a happy and excited toddler-hamming it up with tons of personality...Cameron has a wonderful disposition, laid back and happy (unless he's hungry) and already has been sleeping through the night like a champ! Steve and I love when 8:30 hits and both boys are down for the night....every day is an adventure for me-some days are beyond hard, and some days rock-all of which is to be expected.

Prayers:
-Mom continues to do well with the Chemo with little side effects
-Lauren and Justin are safe in their travels to California and God's amazing love continues to pour through them and to those around them!
-My sanity-ha!
