1 Down, 24 to Go...

Mom had her first round of chemo and radiation yesterday...the good news? Her body did very well with the chemo! The bad news? Not so great with the radiation...after she had the radiation (which she said was a piece of cake), the doc said she might experience some nausea. She made it home just in time, and was quite sick the rest of the evening. A special shout out to my bosses at ABC Care for giving me grace for being late yesterday, as I stayed with Mom and Collin until Dad got home! By the end of the evening, she was able to have some soup (so she could take the chemo that evening) and was starting to feel a little better, just very tired. So today, she'll be taking nausea drugs before the radiation, to hopefully counteract the grossness! So....
